As Perth stretches over a distance it won't make sense to offer
a few shoppings centre locations in the ctiy. So we suggest your
first night stay either east of the city towards Wycombe, Ascot
and Belmont we found it hard to get all services and facilities
in one small location.

Gallery of Western Australia. Embrace the best of both worlds in

What is the weather like in Perth? Perth enjoys hot, dry
summers and mild winters. During summer rain is unusual, but winter
can bring downpours of rain and thunderstorms. Plan ahead with our
information on temperature and rainfall.
Summer (December February) Summer in Perth is hot and dry with
very little rainfall. Average temperatures range from 17.5 - 30C
(63.5 - 86F). In the afternoons a sea breeze called the Fremantle
Doctor' provides some relief from the heat.
Autumn (March May) During autumn Perth experiences warm, sunny
days and cooler nights with average temperatures between 13.7 -
26C (56.6 - 78.8F). During autumn there can be occasional showers
and some humidity. Evening temperatures rarely drop below 10C (50F).
Winter (June August) Winters are relatively cool and wet with
temperatures ranging from 8 - 19C (46.4 - 66.2F). There are occasional
storms, characterised by downpours of rain and thunderstorms.
Spring (September November) During spring, days are warm and sunny
with average temperatures ranging from 11.7 - 23C (53 - 73.4F).
There is little rainfall at this time of year. There is a lot of
flora in spring: discover more than 12,000 species of wildflowers,
which blossom in Perths nature reserves and national parks.
Wildflowers - Western Australia - THE LARGEST FLORAL
SHOW ON EARTH - The wildflower collection in Western Australia
is the largest on Earth. With more than 12,000 species, over 60%
of which are found nowhere else on Earth, they colour the landscapes
from coast to forest and city to outback. The six-month flowering
season begins in the north in June and July on the vast outback
plains of the Pilbara, Goldfields and Coral Coast where vibrant
blooms contrast with pindan earth, rugged canyons and turquoise
sea. By September, it has moved south and reached Perths botanical
gardens, nature reserves and national parks, finishing with a flurry
in October and November throughout the forests and coastal heaths
of the South West. You can take in the spectacles of each region
and season on the many the wildflower scenic drives and walking
trails.
Top tips for wildflower enthusiasts
TAKE nothing but photos picking wildflowers is illegal and can
attract a $2000 fine.
RESPECT private property and don't trespass.
PROTECT canola crops and prevent the spread of disease by staying
out of canola fields.
